Role Description The Finance Administration Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairfax, VA. This position oversees day-to-day financial administration, including the following responsibilities:

Accounting

• Recording non-automated transactions
• Vendor bills
• Payroll
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Journal entries

Financial Management

• Month-end close
• Financial statements
• Budget monitoring
• Cash flow
• Project Audit
• Internal controls

Administration

• Insurance renewals
• Banking
• Vendor management
• Government reporting
• Supporting external accountants on tax returns

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong finance and accounting skills, including experience with Financial Statements and core Accounting practices.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Financial Reporting and Finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance support.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Experience in managing financial processes for small-sized organizations or startups, preferably in technology environments.
• Proficiency with financial software QuickBook (cloud version) and spreadsheets, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines on-site in Fairfax, VA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative working style and commitment to ethical and transparent financial practices.
