Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a contract/temporary opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. This role is ideal for a logistics or warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and supporting smooth daily shipping, receiving, and mail operations.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work in a warehouse environment and play an important role in ensuring packages, shipments, deliveries, and mail are processed accurately and on time. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace where professionalism, dependable communication, and attention to detail are valued.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, mailroom, or logistics experience who is looking to build skills with carrier systems, shipment coordination, customer service, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily shipping and receiving duties, including preparing shipments with banding, shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
- Prepare and affix package labels and badges using UPS, FedEx, and USPS systems.
- Schedule and coordinate daily deliveries and pick-ups with UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
- Manage inbound and outbound mail, including USPS mail preparation and related documentation.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external customers regarding shipments, packages, deliveries, and mail.
- Track and record daily volume metrics for inbound and outbound shipments, packages, and mail.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $42,500.00 to $45,000.00 per year.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Santa Clara, CA.
