Join a dynamic healthcare environment in Tulsa, OK as a Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist focused on enhancing pharmacy services across specialty practice areas. This direct hire opportunity offers an engaging day-shift schedule of 8 hours per day within a prominent 656-bed medical center known for advanced treatment facilities including burn care, women’s health, rehabilitation, cancer treatment, and cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of specialty pharmacy areas such as IV room management, diversion/narcotics control, informatics, and residency program coordination. You will provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed, deliver user support, conduct troubleshooting and maintenance, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. As a subject matter expert, you will lead upgrade testing activities, provide training, and precept pharmacy students or residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operational specialty practice areas and support pharmacy staff
• Develop and implement policies, perform troubleshooting, and maintain system functionality
• Coordinate and lead upgrade testing and educational activities
• Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents

Qualifications:

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• Completion of PGY-1 residency plus PGY-2 specialty residency/fellowship, or equivalent clinical experience as outlined:
  • PGY-1 plus 3+ years clinical experience, or
  • 5+ years clinical experience without residency
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS and ALS/ACLS certifications
• Sterile compounding qualifications as applicable

Preferred:

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification or other nationally recognized specialty training
