This position is with the Community Safety & Technology Department - Code Enforcement Division. The salary range is $71,920.51 - $89,818.86 annually, $5,993.38 - $7,484.90 monthly, and $34.58 - $43.18 hourly. Benefits include a 4-day work week, 11 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday, $2,721.01 monthly benefit allowance towards medical, dental, and vision, employer contribution to a health reimbursement account upon completion of the fifth year, pension through CalPERS, 457 deferred compensation plan through Voya Financial, 200% employer contribution match to a 457 plan up to $3,000 per year, professional development with Breaking the Chain Consulting, and $2,500 educational reimbursement per fiscal year.

The Code Enforcement division is focused on enhancing public safety, quality of life, and positive relationships within the community. The Code Enforcement Officer will serve as an ambassador and champion for the city and will be integral to reaching this goal through education and awareness, while taking enforcement action only when compliance is not achieved.
