To be considered for the WNY Site General Manager – Defense Division, here’s what you will need to bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
• Over ten (10) years of management experience in manufacturing environments, with at least five (5) years in defense or aerospace industries.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of production processes for complex defense systems, such as actuation systems or components.

It would also be great if you had:

• Direct experience with Moog’s actuation technology.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes for defense components and systems.
• Knowledge of electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical actuation systems used in defense systems.
• Experience in high-stakes production environments with stringent quality and on-time delivery requirements.

As the Site General Manager – Defense Division you will:

• Lead with Vision: Oversee operations and mentor teams to produce mission-critical components and control systems.
• Drive Innovation: Optimize resources and maintain production equipment to ensure rigorous production schedules and quality standards.
• Operational Excellence: Lead your team to deliver 100% quality and 100% on-time delivery, meeting Moog’s operational excellence standards.
• Collaborate and Inspire: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across manufacturing, engineering, production, maintenance, planning, quality, environmental, and safety teams.
• Execute Strategy & Drive Results: Deliver site-level performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement while aligning site operations to business unit and enterprise objectives.
• Deliver Financial Results: Own site P&L performance, balancing revenue growth, cost control, operational efficiency, and investment priorities to support long-term business success.
• Lead People, Culture and Capability: Build strong site culture aligned with Moog’s values and mutual trust & respect, teamwork, and long-term development.
• Support Customers & Programs: Partner with the Business Unit General Manager in customer engagement, ensuring transparency, operational readiness, and delivery of performance.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $180,000.00–$240,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
