Project Controls Sr Analyst - Schedule Lead - Denver & Bloomington

Location Bloomington, MN, US; Greenwood Village, CO, US Company Black & Veatch Family of Companies Position Project Controls Sr Analyst – Schedule Lead (Senior level) Opportunity Lead project controls functions for planning and scheduling, manage a small team, provide guidance to less experienced personnel, and contribute to proposal efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead the project control function and influence internal and external clients. Facilitate project forecasts. Recognize issues and advise the project team or JV partners on matters affecting project execution. Support proposal efforts. Schedule/Planning Lead the scheduling team in preparation of plans and schedules. Interface with JV partners for planning and scheduling activities. Ensure constructability is integrated into the planning process. Apply key cost control processes. PJC Management Lead a team of project control professionals. Coordinate planning on less complex projects after the baseline is in place. Maintain systems to monitor work status and identify issues proactively. Interface with management to identify and address issues. Advise field teams and the headquarters PCM on matters affecting project success, where applicable. Lead or direct PJC activities with JV and S/C construction partners, where applicable. Management Responsibilities Acts in the capacity of a lead person. Does not have direct people‑management responsibility for those to whom work direction is provided. Minimum Qualifications Four‑year bachelor’s degree with six or more years of relevant cost control, planning, or scheduling experience; OR no bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of relevant experience. Must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor‑vehicle records search) if selected. Preferred Qualifications Prefer a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management. Work Environment Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments. Salary Compensation range: $103,341.00 – $162,371.00, based on job and location.
