Phlebotomist

Job Summary Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist at 885 Euclid Avenue, National City, CA 91950. Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m., with additional hours as required. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary specimen collections for all age groups, entering patient data, processing billing, preparing specimens, maintaining logs, and providing superior customer service. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid California State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications 1 or more month(s) of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp. Additional Job Standards Eligible to apply for the CA Department of Health phlebotomy license at time of hire. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Availability to attend a 2‑week training in California.
