Industrial Wastewater Mechanic

Job Description

H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic to join our team in Harrison County, MS.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment
Troubleshoot pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and other plant equipment
Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before failures occur
Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment and systems
Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational issues
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
Coordinate with plant operators to identify and resolve equipment issues
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition

The Skills We Are Looking For

Experience in industrial wastewater, plant maintenance, or a related mechanical field
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and wastewater equipment
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Basic electrical and controls knowledge preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and company standards
