Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Dallas, TX
Role Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist residents with daily activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Educate residents and their families about health management and wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or equivalent setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices in patient care.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
