AbouttheRole AsRegionalSalesManager,youownrevenuegrowthinyourterritory.You’llhuntandclosenet-newbusinessacrosstwochannels:sellingthroughdistributionanddirecttoinstallers,andacrossbothresidentialandcommercialmarkets.It’sacomplex,consultativeB2Bsale:withinasingleaccount,youmightworkanowner,aCFO,anengineer,andasalesteam,andyou’llneedtoknowhowtonavigateallofthemtogettoyes. WhatYou’llOwn Huntingandclosingnet-newdistributor,EPC,andinstalleraccountsacrosstheNortheast. Yourterritorystrategy,endtoend-whototarget,howtobreakin,andhowtogrowtheaccount. Complex, multi-decision-maker B2B sales, from one-person installer shops to larger commercial firms. Growthacrossbothresidentialandcommercialchannels Hands-on product and sales training for your partners’ teams so they can sell and deploy our solutions. Fieldintelligencebacktoproductandmarketingonpositioning,pricing,andthecompetitivelandscape. WhatWe’reLookingFor Aprovenhunter.Adocumentedtrackrecordofidentifying,negotiating,andclosingnet-newtechnicalB2Baccounts,ideallywithclosingperformancenearthetopofyourfield. 5+yearsintechnicalB2Bsalesorsalesmanagement. Solar/energystorageindustryexperience.WorkingknowledgeofPVsystems,inverters,andbatterystorage,andhowthedistributorandinstallerlandscapeworks. Self-direction.Yourunyourowngame,bringyourownideas. Mobility.BasedinCaliforniaandabletotravelroughly50–70%withintheregionforclientvisits,siteevaluations,andtradeshows. Education.Abachelor’sdegreeinbusiness,marketing,oratechnicaldisciplineisaplus.
