Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant – North Carolina | Commutable from Charlotte | Sign-On Bonus

The Opportunity

Join an independent, physician-owned group, who is hiring full-time Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants at two Atrium Health emergency departments west of Charlotte. You get the culture and autonomy of a physician-led practice, a team that has grown most of its APPs from within, and an easy commute from the Charlotte metro.

• Atrium Health Cleveland (Shelby): Level III, 34-bed ED, ~60,000 annual visits
• Atrium Health Kings Mountain: 14-bed ED, ~28,000 annual visits, lower acuity
• Super intake model with 6-8 triage rooms to keep patients moving
• Epic EMR with Dragon and DAX Copilot Highlights
• 10-hour shifts, no overnights; latest shift ends at 1am
• 12 shifts/month minimum for full-time
• Paid for full scheduled hours and 1.5 patients/hour on average
• Low turnover, with long-tenured team members

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation and benefits package with:

• Experience-based hourly pay with weekend differential with quarterly productivity bonus
• Sign-on with bonus, plus retention bonus plus $5,000 CME
