Plans and directs the timely execution of technical activities, as assigned. Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer standards and procedures. Monitors goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Provides technical guidance to others in the identification and resolution of problems. Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Works on special projects, as directed. Preferred SkillsLeadership experience supervising direct reports across multi-discipline work groups of engineers and technical specialists. Disciplines may include mechanical, chemical, electrical, and instrumentation & control.Advanced knowledge of related engineering and technical standards, techniques, and criteria; demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates, other work groups, and suppliers10+ years in an electrical engineering and experience in industrial automation, instrumentation and controls. Preferred skills include design/program of PLCs (Allen Bradley), Oversee of field work including new installations, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting.Strong management capabilities; ability to identify and grow talent, build a sense of community within a team, and improve the output of other engineerExperience in overseeing instrumentation calibration programs What You'll BringBachelor's Degree in related fieldMinimum of 7 years related technical experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.Advanced knowledge of related technical standards, techniques and criteria. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates. Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills. Total Rewards PackageTotal Rewards Package Salary: $126,000 - $171,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
