Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantIn order to ensure efficient, quality health care services, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide medical screenings and primary care to our patients.Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:Provides direct health care services to patients.Offers clinical consultation and arranges referrals to other providers and clinical staff.Reviews lab and x-ray results of other providers patient care results.Prescribes medications to patients, including counseling patients regarding the proper use and contraindications of medications as well as detect and diagnose adverse drug reactions.Evaluates medical charts to determine appropriate patient care follow up and education regarding acute and chronic illnesses.Accurately and completely charts information regarding patient interactions into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Education and Experience:Master's in nursing from an accredited nursing program/ Physician Assistant licensure and certification.Board certification.Licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado.BLS Certification.Previous experience as a nurse practitioner/physician assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.Two years post licensing preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply for future roles.We offer a competitive hourly range of $108,000 - $130,000 depending on your experience.Site with Opening: Del Mar Clinic Aurora, COHiring Organization: STRIDE Community Health Center
