Part-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner | Aurora, CO

Location: Aurora, CO Status: Part-Time Schedule: Minimum 4 shifts per month; 12-hour shifts (standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week) Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: Part-time benefits eligible where applicable Position Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Aurora, CO . Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Colorado license for NP or PA Board certification required (ANCC/AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA) Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification EHR proficiency Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care) Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read #J-18808-Ljbffr NextCare
