Role Description: Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Northern Precinct, NJ. This position is responsible for managing and growing a territory by visiting existing and prospective customers, presenting product solutions, and supporting Maintenance, Repair, and Operations needs. Day-to-day activities include conducting sales presentations, demonstrating product value, following up on leads, and developing new business opportunities. The role also involves building long-term relationships, providing responsive customer service, and maintaining accurate records of calls, quotes, and orders. The Outside Sales Representative collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, resolve issues, and help customers optimize their operations using Kimball Midwest's products and programs. Qualifications Strong skills in Sales Presentations and the ability to clearly demonstrate product benefits and solutions. Relationship-building skills to establish, develop, and maintain long-term customer partnerships. Customer Service and Communication skills to respond promptly to customer needs and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing. Experience in New Business Development, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales. Proven track record in outside or field sales, preferably in industrial, MRO, or related sectors. Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a defined territory. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily customer visits. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or a related field is beneficial.
