Summary:

Provides education and professional development to support the clinical competence and growth of nursing and clinical team members. Assesses learning needs, develops and leads evidence-based educational programs, supports new hire orientation, and promotes clinical excellence in alignment with the ANPD Scope and Standards of Practice.

Your Role Within The Team:

• Develops, implements, and evaluates clinical education and professional development programs
• Conducts needs assessments and applies evidence-based educational strategies
• Supports orientation and ongoing development of clinical team members
• Serves as a clinical and educational resource to direct care staff
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and change management
• Performs appropriate RN functions and other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

• BSN with 3 years of clinical experience OR
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field with 4 years of nursing education experience
• Level 4 NICU experience

Preferred

• Professional organization certification
• ANPD certification

Location: St. Joseph's Women's Hospital

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: Varies

Shift: Shift 4

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: No
