Accounts Receivable Specialist

I’m partnered with a Global Manufacturer, on a new Accounts Receivable Specialist hire.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable processes , including collections, account reconciliation, and reporting. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timely payments while supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage collections efforts including past-due follow-ups, customer communication, and coordination with sales
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and prepare aging reports with insights on delinquent accounts
• Process daily cash receipts, apply payments, and prepare bank deposits
• Handle customer refunds and resolve account discrepancies
• Support year-end audit activities related to accounts receivable
• Provide backup support to accounts payable as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounts receivable experience, ideally with B2B collections
• Strong communication skills with ability to manage customer conversations professionally
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Minimum, High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus!
