Seeking a skilled Dental Ceramist to join our close-knit dental laboratory team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in producing high-quality, precise dental restorations and enjoys working within a small, collaborative environment where craftsmanship is valued.

A typical day involves reviewing case files and prescriptions from dentists, layering and shaping porcelain or ceramic materials to create crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations, and working through each stage of fabrication with careful attention to fit, function, and aesthetics. You'll use tools such as ovens, presses, and shading systems to match natural tooth color and texture, and you'll frequently check your work against case specifications to ensure accuracy before final finishing and quality checks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Fabricating crowns, bridges, veneers, and other ceramic dental restorations according to case specifications
• Layering, shaping, and staining porcelain to achieve natural-looking color, contour, and translucency
• Reviewing prescriptions and case details from dentists to ensure restorations meet required specifications
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as ovens, presses, and shading tools
• Performing quality checks on restorations for fit, shade accuracy, and overall craftsmanship
• Making adjustments and refinements to restorations based on feedback or fitting requirements
• Collaborating with other lab technicians and team members to meet case deadlines
• Maintaining accurate case records and documentation
• Following infection control and sterilization protocols for incoming case materials
• Staying current on new ceramic materials, techniques, and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Dental Ceramist or in a similar dental laboratory role
• Strong knowledge of ceramic materials, layering techniques, and shading systems
• Excellent attention to detail and a steady, precise hand
• Ability to interpret case prescriptions and dental specifications accurately
• Familiarity with dental laboratory equipment and tools
• Strong artistic sense for color, shape, and natural tooth aesthetics
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet case deadlines
