Ameritrace is hiring full-time Utility Locating Technicians to travel around Mt Pleasant, TX. You will be walking around outdoor spaces and accurately locating underground lines.

No experience? No problem! This is an entry-level position!

YOUR DAY AS A UTILITY LOCATING TECHNICIAN

To succeed in this entry-level role, you'll need to be highly accurate, detail-oriented, and compliant with all safety procedures. You'll also need to be eager to learn more and committed to completing thorough work. Here's what you can expect:

• Traveling in a company vehicle to various outdoor spaces (fields, backyards, parking lots, etc.)
• Walking around the property and using tools like EM locators to identify underground pipes and cables
• Accurately marking underground line locations and following color codes
• Completing detailed job reports
• Thoroughly following all safety procedures to keep yourself and your team members safe

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

While experience would be great, it's not required for this entry-level role. Here's what we're looking for:

• 18+ years old
• Eagerness to learn more and readiness to get to work
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Reliable work performance
