In this role, the Mammography Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of Mammo procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.

This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working Monday - Friday from 12:00pm - 8:00pm.

Preferred Criteria:

• ARRT Advanced modality - Mammo (M)

• Prior Mammo Tech experience working in a hospital setting

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology

• N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification

• Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements

$57.45 - $68.35/Hourly
