You will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.Position Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all aspects of the tax department, including tax planning, compliance, and reportingProvide expert guidance and advice to clients on complex tax mattersStay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance at all timesLead a team of tax professionals and provide mentorship and trainingBuild and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growthPosition Essential Job Functions:Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporationsDevelop and implement innovative tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clientsConduct thorough research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues and provide appropriate solutionsReview and approve tax returns, financial statements, and other tax-related documentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projectsKeep abreast of industry trends and best practices in tax managementPosition Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred)Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation7+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax managementStrong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyOutstanding leadership and communication abilitiesThe position requires related experience working in external relationship management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
