What Your Day Will Look Like

• Performing comprehensive assessments of patients, ordering diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either solo or in collaboration with physicians (as per your credentialing)
• Empowering patients and families through education on prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies per your practice scope
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications Required

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty area
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the capability to obtain these within 90 days
