Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans that address individual health goals.
• Deliver skilled, compassionate therapy services, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities suited to our geriatric clients.
• Regularly monitor, assess, and document patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques, home exercise regimens, and strategies for injury prevention, facilitating a supportive home environment.
• Implement fall prevention initiatives and develop safety standards to minimize risks within the assisted living community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed of recent advancements in physical therapy practices and actively participating in training opportunities.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality and ensuring a commitment to quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate).
• Possession of an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMRs) to facilitate patient documentation and tracking.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will enjoy an annual salary that ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
