Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sleep Medicine Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring RPSGT certification or Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Medical Tech - Other department
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• RPSGT certification or Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the state of Missouri required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent experience in sleep medicine
• Must be able to perform polysomnographic technology services without supervision

Additional Information

• Responsible for patient hook-up and instruction, monitoring polysomnographic and audiovisual recordings, scoring records, and performing CPAP/BiPap titrations
• Performs duties consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate if residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
