Security Officer Facility Rounds – Raleigh, NC As a Security Officer Facility Rounds in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.01 / Hour Job Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while observing for policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and report findings through established channels. Support daily operations by following post orders, assisting with directional information, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security‑related activities. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
