Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.01 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site‑specific procedures and supporting security‑related protocols at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for reporting. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or public areas, verify access permissions when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy‑related concerns in accordance with site procedures. Support emergency response activities, provide directions and assistance during disruptions, and report maintenance, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
