Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Responder in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with branch personnel, law enforcement, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and client guidelines. Support opening, closing, and after‑hours security‑related activities, including checking doors, lighting, and high‑value areas, while maintaining awareness of site‑specific procedures and emergency protocols. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
