Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.92 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM Tue: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations through site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity in accordance with site rules and post instructions. Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating relevant information, documenting incidents, and following directions for routine and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
