Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1990 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Advanced hemodynamic and ventilator management required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Trauma patient management preferred.
IV administration of vasoactive medications preferred.
Chest tube management preferred.
Care of postoperative surgical patients preferred.
Cardiac rhythm identification and management preferred.
Hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
Care of stroke patients preferred.

Unit Details:
Procedures performed include chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, ECMO, and arterial and central line placement.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week is an option.
Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts in 4-week schedule period).

Floating Requirements:
Floating to like units includes NS ICU, Cardiac Telemetry units (4 North and 4 Central), Progressive Care Unit (4 West), Burn Unit, ED inpatient overflow, and other units as per overall hospital needs.
