Process Engineer

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon . In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our processes, contributing to the success of our thin-film electronic devices and sensors fabrication.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed lab notebooks to document your activities.
Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to tool operation and repeatability.
Ensure run logs and data entry are completed accurately and promptly.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration tasks on essential equipment.
Provide feedback on potential improvements to work activities.
Learn to operate and maintain assigned equipment with expertise.
Understand and apply the scientific method to optimize processes.
Maintain a strong focus on quality and safety, identifying and correcting non-conforming activities.
Lead or participate in special projects aligned with team goals and targets.
Audit processes and monitor consumable availability.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a similar process engineering role.
Associate's degree or higher in an appropriate field (e.g., engineering, science).
Understanding of automated and semi-automated process tooling, ideally in thin-film electronics or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a random drug test.
