IT Project Manager III

Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid: Onsite Wednesday) Duration: 13 Months

Job Duties

Responsibilities may include:

Preventing power surges
Ensuring that the right amount of energy is distributed
Operating power-generating equipment
Measuring power flow with gauges, meters, and charts
Maintaining generators, turbines, and other equipment

Education/Experience

Associate Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Possesses three to five years of experience. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

The role requires planning, oversight, and execution of data and advanced analytics projects in the Technology Enablement and Analytics division of Enterprise Transformation Services. This effort is aimed at modernizing the data and analytics platforms serving different operating units. A majority of these projects are run by our in-house Managed Service Provider for technology execution. The project manager will serve as the single point of contact for budgeting, scoping, technology decisions with architecture collaboration and quality advisors, steering committee management, program oversight, risk management, and operating unit stakeholder management.

Required Skills/Attributes

8 years of experience in technical delivery of data and analytics projects
Proven experience in the utility sector for data lifecycle and application project delivery and deployment on platforms like SAP BDC, Snowflake, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAS, or equivalent data platforms

Desired Skills/Attributes

Preferred skills include PMP certification
Agile/scrum master certifications
Previous client or client's project management experience
Utility project budgeting process including unit estimate and actuals tracking
Proven skills in data project lifecycle
Credit management/FinOps for cloud platforms
