Assistant Project Manager

Role Overview This position provides on-site support in San Antonio, TX, assisting with project coordination, documentation, and financial management for a large, multi-phased construction project. Key Responsibilities Support the Controls Manager and project team by managing documentation, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate project records. Assist with preparing, reviewing, and submitting invoices, purchase orders, and financial documentation. Organize project files, including drawings, meeting notes, change orders, and reports. Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and develop client reports through data validation. Communicate with owners, architects, contractors, and vendors to facilitate project activities. Support project coordination, internal/external communications, and team organization. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of experience in construction, project controls, or related fields preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore), Microsoft Project, Adobe, or CAD is a plus. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of construction operations such as cost tracking and scheduling. Ability to follow processes, maintain records, and work collaboratively with a team.
