Nurse Practitioner

Gastro Center of Maryland is an 18-provider GI group practice seeking to add a Nurse Practitioner to the team. The successful candidate will split time between several locations in or near Montgomery County. After two years with the group, there is an opportunity to practice independently. Salary and Benefits Highly competitive salary Monday to Friday with no on-call, no weekends, and no hospital rounding Paid time off (PTO) Paid CME Job Description The APP will work with the physicians to: Assess patients independently and in collaboration with GI physician Perform history and physical assessment Order labs, interpret lab results, order imaging, and follow up on all results Prescribe medications and manage medications specific to patient needs Create a plan of care utilizing care guidelines Qualifications Approved Maryland State Medical License, Board Certification, Maryland CDS, and DEA certificate Prefer one year of Gastroenterology and/or outpatient practice Prefer bilingual candidates (in Spanish or Chinese) #J-18808-Ljbffr
