Travel RN Job Details Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Birth Center / Labor & Delivery Location: Auburn, WA 98001 Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400 - $2,530 On-Site: Yes Call: No call required Labor & Delivery Nurse Requirements Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required BLS certification required NRP certification required Fetal monitoring experience required Comfort with postpartum care strongly preferred Strong Epic experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced birth center environment First-time travelers considered Multilingual candidates are a plus Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring patients and postpartum families Perform cervical exams, antepartum assessments, and labor support Administer and monitor amnioinfusions, epidurals, IVs, and Pitocin Monitor fetal status and interpret fetal monitoring as part of ongoing patient care Circulate C-sections and assist with safe, efficient operative support Support newborn transition, including baby catching/receiving and APGAR assessment Provide breastfeeding education and postpartum discharge support for moms and babies Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes Explore this Labor & Delivery travel nursing job in Auburn, WA and bring your clinical expertise to a supportive, high-acuity birth center team.
