Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (IMC/PCU/Step-Down)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care for a Medical Surgical / Telemetry step-down unit with a patient ratio of 1:4–1:5 across a 31-bed unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate cardiac and telemetry oversight
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to Medical Surgical unit as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure (applicable state or compact)
• BLS Certification (required)
• ACLS Certification – all ALC modules must be completed
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience required
• No call required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a step-down, PCU, or IMC setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient populations
