Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to enforce site rules regarding entry, restricted areas, and prohibited items.
• Support emergency and evacuation protocols, assist with preliminary incident assessments, and communicate clearly with local responders and/or site personnel when situations require additional assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
