Opening: Journeyman Plumber
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $40.00 to $55.00 + per hour depending on experience

COMPANY INFO:
A locally owned and growing Alaska company is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving problems in the field, and is open to working on a variety of projects including work on military installations.
This position offers the opportunity to travel throughout Alaska while working with a team that values professionalism, adaptability, and continuous learning. The right candidate will be someone who can think on their feet, approach challenges creatively, and deliver high quality workmanship in a range of environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential plumbing systems
• Diagnose plumbing issues and develop effective solutions in the field
• Work on projects that may include military base facilities and other secure sites
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Adapt to changing job site conditions and adjust plans as needed
• Travel to project locations across Alaska as required
• Maintain a high level of craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism on every job site
• Continue developing skills and learning new techniques within the trade

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Journeyman Plumber license required
• Ability to obtain and maintain military base access
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
• Flexibility to travel throughout the state as projects require
• Creative thinking and the ability to adapt quickly in the field
• Desire to continue learning and developing within the plumbing trade
• Background check required
  • Drug screening required
    Company does not test for THC
• Valid driver's license preferred
