Maintenance Mechanic 1st shift

CLV Maintenance MechanicInstall, maintain, and repair all furnaces and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications, utilizing knowledge of mechanics and electricity. Maintain and repair plant building and structures. Install and troubleshoot buildings electrical systems and electronic equipment.Key Responsibilities:Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, refrigeration, and chemical systems on all equipment and buildings.Read and log all meters on equipment.Perform and document preventive maintenance on all meters, gauges, recorders, charts, filters, belts, grease fittings, quench oil levels, lubrication levels, thermocouple checks, furnace internals, furnace mechanisms, safety devices, etc. to maintain proper work performance and a longer working life.Qualifications:Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC.Very strong mechanical thinking and reasoning required.Ability to plan jobs with uncertainty to optimize time usage.Willing to learn, try new methods, and ask for help.Ability to work through problems you have never seen before.Ability to change focus with minimal notification and remember to come back to finish incomplete projects.Self-motivated, fast, and hard working.Insist that repairs are made to the best of our knowledge and ability every time.Welding skills or the desire to learn weldingLicense(s)/Certification(s) Required:Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.Valid US driver license with acceptable standing, per Paulo standard procedure.Competitive Benefits Package:Medical benefits (including Teledoc Telehealth Visits)Dental benefitsGroup Life InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceVision InsuranceHoliday PaySickness & Accident pay401k with employer match and employer contribution up to 5.5%Employee Assistance ProgramShift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
