Test Engineer (AN/BYG-1)

Duties and Responsibilities Conduct subsystem and system of systems testing at our location and others Work in an Agile environment with engineers across the program to verify our deliveries to the Navy Analyze how our software meets system, functional and performance requirements Install test bays and troubleshoot anomalies Communicate and proactively resolve issues with engineers from other subsystems to determine where issues lie and how to address them as a project team Qualifications Former US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician or Sonar Technician Experience with the AN/BYG-1 combat control system or Contact Management Fire Control Display as a Sonar Tech Formal testing experience on a DoD production delivery environment Experience working proactively with local and remote test team members Solid verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Office products Experience with testing in an Agile development environment Ability to travel Knowledge of requirements management and system modeling tools Working knowledge of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories Preferred Experience Experience working in the SWFTS submarine community Communication among peers and up the chain Recognition of relevant information, and clear communication of issues and alternatives Equal Opportunity Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
