Patient Service Representative Posting Number: SP005460P Division/College: Student Affairs Department: Student Benefits, Health & Wellness Location: Moscow Posting Context Statement: Position Overview: This position provides support services for Vandal Health Clinic. They are responsible for maintaining patient records and providing general information about Vandal Health Clinic to patients, faculty, staff, students and the public about services and certain policies and procedures. Duties may include: Schedule and reschedule patient appointments Screen client telephone calls for clinicians Process new patient paperwork and confidential information Other duties as assigned Required Experience: One year performing office support functions such as documentor records management, composing or editing and formatting businessdocuments, reception and/or customer service Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Other: None Additional Preferred: Experience understanding and knowledgeable of medicalterminology Experience with and knowledgeable in Electronic Health/MedicalRecords Experience in a mental health or medical clinic setting Experience working with or knowledgeable of the HIPAA of 1996and FERPA, pertaining to releasing protected healthinformation Two years of general office experience OR one year of office or customer service experience in a healthcare setting OR equivalenteducation/experience Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: None Degree Requirement: Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employee Category: Classified Pay Range: $20.00 per hour or higher depending on educationand experience Type of Appointment: Fiscal Year
