Accounts Payable Specialist Administration Office - Donaldsonville, LA Overview Position Type: Full Time Salary-Exempt Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Zero - 5% Category: Accounting Description Sunshine Quality Solutions is looking for an accounts payable specialist. The accounts payable specialist processes accounts payable activities, which include processing parts, complete goods, and all other invoices. What You'll Do The accounts payable specialist verifies invoices for accuracy, resolves discrepancies, ensures payment terms are followed, calculates discounts as appropriate, and enters all vendor invoices into the dealer business system. This individual prepares and processes checks or online payments in a timely manner, accurately maintains vendor records and various records for tax purposes and reconciles vendor statements. In addition, the Accounts Payable Specialist may assist other co-workers with related tasks. Qualifications What's Required 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Dealer's Business System and other programs specific to the position Internet functions Proficient in accounting fundamentals High level of attention to detail and accuracy Associate's Degree in an Accounting/ Finance discipline Ability to pass a pre- employment drug screen What's Preferred 2+ years of experience in an administrative role Bachelor's Degree in an Accounting/ Finance discipline Experience with using business system applications Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry Physical Requirements The physical requirements described below are those necessary to successfully perform the respected position.
