Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a high-volume, diverse obstetric unit. This role involves caring for high risk obstetric patients, managing postpartum treatments, and handling deliveries with a focus on postpartum hemorrhage, magnesium therapy, and other specialized procedures. The assignment offers options of 13 or 26 weeks, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license at submission; BLS and NRP certifications; at least 2 years of experience in high acuity postpartum care; strong EPIC electronic health record system experience; previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy and postpartum hemorrhage management; JADA experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required at Issaquah Campus (Postpartum), Edmonds Campus (Postpartum, Labor and Delivery).
• Additional Information: Candidates must have high-risk obstetric care experience, including magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, Foley catheters, postpartum hemorrhage management, and handling four-couplets newborns as standard. Candidates should be able to handle census surges and manage high acuity cases.
