A successful candidate must have the capacity and desire to learn. Our environment is a highly secure Linux based environment utilizing MacOS and Linux workstations. Windows does not live here, so if you have Linux skills and are familiar with Apple laptops, you are the candidates we want to talk to.Responsibilities: Building and deploying Apple and Linux laptopsTier1/2 user service and supportLocal network troubleshootingVOIP and PBX supportManaging and supporting secure open-source toolsQualifications: Required:Experience managing and supporting Apple laptopsExperience with LinuxExperience supporting users in secure environmentsFamiliar with both Linux and Mac systems (Linux servers, Mac laptops)Knowledge of Apple OSX and iOSMinimum 3 years' relevant experienceMust be able to obtain a security clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is requiredMust be able to work out of the Leesburg office 5 days a weekPreferred:Bachelor's degree in a relevant area desired.Administration of open-source software (e.g. OpenSearch, Nextcloud, ABM, osTicket, Zulip etc.)Ability to write scripts as needed (e.g., shell scripts, Python, Perl, PHP, etc.)Knowledge of common business services very desirablee-mail (Postfix / Dovecot / etc.)Calendars (CalDav)ChatPassword safesProxy serversVTCFile shareWikiCompensation and Benefits:We seek the best-and-brightest professionals at all levels so offer highly competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
