Warehouse Associate

Our client, a fast-paced distribution environment, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the distribution operations team supporting daily order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, comfort working in a physically active role, and the ability to follow procedures consistently, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Windsor, CT Pay Range: Shift: 1st Mon-Thur 5:30am-4pm (4 days, 10hrs); 3rd Fri, Sat, Sun 5am-5:30pm (3 days, 12hrs); 4th Sun-Tues 5pm-5:30am (3 days, 12hrs); 5th Wed-Fri 5pm-5:30am (3 days, 12hrs) What's the Job? Load and unload merchandise, move items from area to area, and use conveyors or other equipment throughout the distribution center. Check, verify, and audit merchandise, entering data into remote data terminals to help ensure orders are correct and items are not damaged. Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise for relocation to the appropriate distribution center area. Operate equipment to move and store merchandise, including replenishing pick areas based on replenishment screens or requests. Support order fulfillment by selecting and moving merchandise to the correct conveyor, slot, pallet, or box; load merchandise onto trailers and scan non-conveyable or non-diverted items before loading. What's Needed? Ability to perform essential warehouse tasks including loading/unloading, moving merchandise, and using material-handling equipment safely. Strong attention to detail to verify shipment accuracy, confirm items are not damaged, and ensure correct trailer loading. Comfort using remote data terminals and completing required scanning and data entry tasks. Ability to follow department procedures and perform varied duties as assigned within the distribution center. Willingness to work scheduled shifts and maintain consistent productivity in a fast-moving environment. What's in it for me?
