Job Title:

Quality Inspector (QA/QC)

Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and manufacturing processes meet defined quality standards and specifications. This role supports production by identifying defects, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods

• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

• Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials

• Approve or reject parts based on compliance to standards

• Record inspection data and maintain accurate quality reports and documentation

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections

• Conduct or support calibration of inspection equipment

• Communicate quality issues to production and assist in root cause analysis / corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO, customer specs, etc.)

• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
