Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with RDMS (AB or OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS certification to cover night shift on-call and rotating duties in a busy ultrasonography department. Requirements RDMS (AB) or (OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS certification from CCI required BLS certification required License required if applicable Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty required for allied candidates Experience with vascular, pediatric, general, procedural, and small parts ultrasound preferred Some OR experience is a plus No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months Responsibilities Ultrasonography unit within a 196-bed hospital with over 800 staff members Day shift staffed by 2 FT sonographers, second shift by 1 FT sonographer, and 1 FT weekend sonographer Night shift coverage is via on-call from 11 PM to 7 AM Shift schedule is T/W/Th 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Rotating on-call requirement shared among 7 sonographers Must be able to float between General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound Uses GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon2 equipment EMR systems include Meditech and GE Centricity PACS Performs abdomen, 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy, biophysical profile, vascular studies (venous doppler, arterial, grafts, segmental pressure testing), biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, testicular, NICU neuro sono heads, and surgery cases Performs High Level Disinfection for intra-cavitary probes Candidates should be positive, friendly, and work well with others Must be dependable, reliable, prompt, and a good communicator 13-week assignment length Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-756718 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
