Required Procedures: ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) (Diagnostic, Therapeutic) Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)

Preferred: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices, with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)) Esophageal dilatation/manometry Esophageal manometry interpretation Small Bowel biopsy Lower GI endoscopy (Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid), Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)) Liver biopsy Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube

Duties & Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour call coverage for gastroenterology services Perform advanced GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and flexible sigmoidoscopy Manage inpatient and outpatient GI consultations and procedures Round on assigned patients Respond to call within 20 minutes
