1:1 Paraprofessional – Elementary Support (K–6) | Bristol, VT
Procare Therapy is currently seeking a caring and dependable Paraprofessional for a 1:1 elementary student support role in Bristol, VT. This position is available for an immediate start and will extend through the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and has prior experience in a school or educational setting.
Nestled in Vermont’s beautiful Green Mountains, Bristol is known for its close-knit community, charming downtown area, and access to outdoor recreation year-round.
Position Details
Location: Bristol, VT
Grade Levels: K–6
Role: 1:1 student support
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Current School Year + 2026/2027 School Year
Schedule: Full-time, school-day hours
Responsibilities
Provide individualized classroom and behavioral support to a student during the school day
Assist with academic activities and reinforce classroom instruction
Encourage student participation, organization, and social interaction
Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families
Help create and maintain a structured, supportive, and positive learning environment
Implement accommodations and follow student support plans as directed
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification required
Previous paraprofessional or school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively support elementary-aged students
