Accounts Payable Specialist POST NUMBER: 480586

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a growing organization in the East Valley to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, offering up to $32 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and clear outstanding aged items
• Investigate and resolve vendor account discrepancies, including pricing, quantity, and purchase order issues
• Troubleshoot invoice processing and system-related issues within SAP
• Partner with Procurement, Receiving, and internal departments to identify and resolve root causes
• Review and validate GL coding to ensure accuracy
• Support month-end close activities and reporting needs
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with AP process improvements and workflow optimization initiatives

Requirements

• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and data analysis
• Experience with AP automation or workflow systems
