This facility uses Siemens Definition and Siemens Force. The expected start date is based on Novants schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. CT procedure exp: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, aspirations/biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, GE, Siemens. Certs: BLS, ARRT (CT). This facility uses Siemens Definition and Siemens Force./ppPreferred Skills/Certs/Exp: Exp. with neonates, peds, infants, Level I trauma, community hospital, biopsies, myelography, radiation therapy planning./ppJob Details: Shift: 10 hr nights; 21:00 - 07:30; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 40 hours can be offered. Will accept 13-week contracts. Call requirement: none. Float requirement: none. Weekend schedule: none./ppSpecial Procedures/Unit Details: 151-bed community hospital with two CT scanners located in close proximity to the emergency department. The HMC CT department performs a variety of exams to include but is not limited to general scans, biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and scans for research. The department has fixed Siemens Definition and Force scanners. Special equipment: Siemens equipment only. Unit systems: EPIC required, McKesson./ppUnit Orientation: Corporate orientation (Epic training) is 1 day and facility orientation with a preceptor is 3 days (approximately 64 hours).
